Job Title: Maintenance Delivery Driver (0394) Wage/Hour Status: Non-Exempt Reports to: Executive Director of Facilities Pay Grade: M15 Dept. /School: Facilities, Planning & Construction Duty Days: 260 Date Revised: 02/2021
Primary Purpose:
To pick up, receive, and distribute mail and packages to all District facilities including, but not limited to, mail, print shop orders, textbooks, school supplies, teaching supplies, maintenance supplies, custodial supplies, athletic equipment and furniture
Qualifications:
Education/Certification
High School Diploma or GED
Valid Texas Driver’s License
Meet eligibility standards to operate a district vehicle
Preferred Experience:
Experience in driving, deliveries, & moving
Experience with pallet jacks, skid loaders & forklifts
Experience in warehouse receiving & distribution
Major Responsibilities & Duties: Demonstrate acceptable work habits including teamwork, initiative and dependability.
Report to work on time each day.
Pick up mail, sort and deliver as directed.
Receive shipments.
Deliver shipments.
Move boxes & furniture as directed.
Stack, sort, and inventory as directed.
Assemble racks, shelving, & furniture.
Work overtime, nights, and weekends as directed. Operate tools, equipment, and vehicles according to prescribed safety procedures.
Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties including lifting, carrying, etc.
Correct unsafe conditions in work area and report any conditions that are not correctable to supervisor immediately.
Perform any other duties and/or tasks that may be assigned on an as needed basis.
